Explorer III is an outdoor display solution available in both COB and SMD versions, allowing the product to be adapted for different project requirements.

Technology overview

Chip On Board (COB) technology mounts the light-emitting chip directly onto the PCB board. This method effectively eliminates pixel failure issues caused by rack pins. Unlike the traditional SMD package, COB technology bypasses the complex processes of LED chip fabrication and reflow soldering. This significantly enhances the stability of the lamp beads and provides superior protection.

SMD (Surface Mounted Device) technology ensures outstanding reliability and precision by mounting the LEDs directly onto the PCB surface. This advanced design provides excellent resistance to humidity and mechanical stress, resulting in superior durability and consistent performance. With precise color accuracy and minimal failure rates, SMD technology delivers long-lasting stability and brightness for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Easy installation and maintenance

The cabinet is equipped with quick-install locks, curvature locks, and ratchet locks, making assembly fast and efficient. Installation can be completed by a single person. A breathing valve is located on the side of the power box to maintain pressure balance between internal and external components. This vent helps regulate airflow and prevent moisture buildup inside the display, reducing the risk of malfunctions.

Installation configurations

Explorer III series can be easily installed in various configurations, including standard, corner, and curved setups, offering flexible solutions and seamless splicing to suit any space and design needs.
